Scotty is a one year old 12 pound terrier mix who recently arrived from Kentucky after spending a month in a wonderful foster home while he awaited an opportunity to head to the northeast. This youngster is sweet, loving, playful, does great with other dogs and in fact, would want a home with another playful dog, and is coming along well with housebreaking. He great with all people but would not be appropriate for a family with small children because of his exuberance and energy. Scotty will need a new family that does not leave him alone for long periods of time and can give him the exercise and training that he needs. Scotty appears to have a nonshedding coat and therefore will need to be groomed by a professional on a regular basis. A fenced in yard is preferred. No tie outs, trolleys, or invisible fence.
